LEADERS IN MODERN BRITISH LUXURY: RANGE ROVER ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS, WIMBLEDON

Range Rover has announced its official partnership with The Championships, Wimbledon, bringing together for the first time the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and the world’s foremost luxury SUV brand.

The Championships is the quintessentially British sporting highlight of the Summer. Viewed by millions globally, the prestigious Grand Slam tournament will be supported for the first time with Range Rover as the Official Vehicle Partner for 2024. The transition from Jaguar to Range Rover will see JLR’s support of The Championships extend to more than a decade.

Range Rover leads by example with breathtaking modernity, peerless refinement and unmatched breadth of capability, informed by over fifty years of evolution; delivering the most luxurious SUVs for global clients. Every Range Rover is available as a plug-in electric hybrid, with the first fully electric Range Rover due to be revealed later this year.

The fleet, including the latest Range Rover and Range Rover Sport plug-in electric hybrid models, will be used to transport players, their teams and officials to and from official venues throughout The Championships, using the on-site charging facilities to maximise the use of Range Rover’s pure electric driving range of up to 75 miles. *

Reducing vehicle emissions is a critical component of Wimbledon’s environment positive commitment. The on-site charging infrastructure at the recently completed Indoor Tennis Centre is powered by renewable electricity and is capable of accommodating increasing numbers of hybrid and electric vehicles as progress continues towards the All England Club’s 2030 net zero operational emissions target.

As an iconic British cultural event watched by millions across the world, The Championships provides the ideal opportunity for Range Rover to engage with our global clients with creative storytelling, that perfectly captures the elegance and refinement of our vehicles and the synergies between our two modern luxury brands.
GERALDINE INGHAM
MANAGING DIRECTOR, RANGE ROVER

We are delighted to be continuing our long-standing partnership with JLR with the announcement of Range Rover as Official Vehicle Partner. I am particularly pleased with the inclusion of a significant number of lower emission plug-in hybrid vehicles in the fleet, with a focus on as many journeys as possible being delivered in EV mode. This is another step towards our goal of achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030.
DEBORAH JEVANS CBE
CHAIR OF THE ALL ENGLAND CLUB

The Championships is set to take place from 1 to 14 July 2024 at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
