The 2024 Velar’s base engine option is a rather lethargic 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine. Hence, the stronger P400 powertrain is the ideal choice for this midsize luxury SUV. I had the opportunity to extensively test the 2024 Range Rover Velar Dynamic SE P400. My test-drive unit came equipped with a bunch of extras, including the Dynamic Handling Pack featuring an optional air suspension setup and a premium $600 Meridian 3D audio system. Dapper Looks And Exceptional Interior Quality
Since its inception, the Range Rover Velar has always been one of the best-looking vehicles in the midsize luxury SUV segment, and the 2024 Velar Dynamic SE P400 isn’t an exception. Being the Dynamic SE trim, the SUV gets some extra styling elements along with more stylish 19-inch alloys. This translates to the Velar Dynamic SE having a muscular stance and a ravishing mien. The Velar’s cabin is a fine expression of simplistic luxury.
Everything is constructed out of high-quality materials and every interior element is strategically placed for utmost convenience. The seats are exceptionally comfortable and I never felt fatigued even when driving for hours on the highway. Tech features are abundant inside the Velar. The large central touchscreen that controls both vital functions and infotainment duties is intuitive and easy to use. In fact, inside the Velar, I never felt bothered by the lack of physical buttons, although a climate knob would be welcome.
